Spearhead Missions, its outfitters, operators, suppliers, and cooperating agencies act only as agents for transportation and related travel services. They assume no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to person or property in connection with any service, including but not limited to events resulting from acts of God, delays, quarantine, strikes, theft, force majeure, war, civil unrest, government regulations, or transportation issues beyond their control.
Reasonable changes to itinerary may be made at the discretion of the trip operator. Upon donation of a deposit, the participant agrees to be bound by these terms. Prices are subject to change without notice due to currency fluctuations or other causes.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit church, voluntary donations made to Spearhead Missions to support participation in mission work are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. These donations are nonrefundable and support the organization’s mission work.
A non-refundable application fee and/or deposit is required to apply for or reserve a mission trip. These fees are not tax-deductible and are used for administrative and program costs.
Final payment is due 30 days before departure and may be made by check, credit card, or PayPal. If full payment is not received prior to departure, Spearhead Missions reserves the right to cancel arrangements.
Spearhead Missions reserves the right to cancel any course, expedition, or volunteer opportunity due to insufficient participation. In such cases, donations will be deferred toward another opportunity within one year. If not used within that time, funds may be used at the discretion of Spearhead Missions.
If a participant cancels, Spearhead Missions may choose to allow funds to be transferred to another opportunity within one year, or deny the request on a case-by-case basis.
Spearhead Missions and its partners are not responsible for expenses such as equipment, insurance, or airfare. They also reserve the right to remove any participant who violates conduct standards or behaves in a way that is unsafe or inconsiderate. Any expenses resulting from removal will be the responsibility of the participant.
Short-term traveler’s medical insurance is required. All baggage is carried at the owner’s risk. Spearhead Missions assumes no liability for loss, damage, or delay of property.
Trip cancellation insurance may cover non-refundable costs in cases such as serious illness.
By joining a Spearhead Missions team, participants agree that photos and recordings may be captured at the discretion of staff. Spearhead Missions retains rights to all media captured during the trip.
Participants grant permission for their image or likeness to be used without compensation or further notice. Personal media captured by participants is intended for personal use only and may not be distributed commercially or used for financial gain.
Uploading media to Spearheadmissions.com grants Spearhead Missions a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display that content across its platforms and affiliated services. Personal information within media will not be sold and will only be used for safety, authorization, or identity verification purposes.
